JLPT N5 Foundation Course

About the course

Welcome to the very beginning of your Japanese language adventure! This foundation course is carefully made for absolute beginners who have never studied Japanese before. We start with the very basics, showing you that learning a new language is not scary at all. You will learn how to read and write the two basic Japanese alphabets, called Hiragana and Katakana. We will also introduce you to your first few Kanji characters, which are beautiful picture-words.

By the end of this course, you will be able to introduce yourself politely, ask for directions, and understand simple sentences that people use every day in Japan. It is the perfect first step for anyone who wants to travel to Japan or start a new career journey.
